Troocoo is recruiting an AO6 Digital/UX Project Officer for a Queensland Government opportunity, supporting a major intranet redevelopment and migration project. This role is ideal for a digital professional with strong SharePoint and user experience skills who enjoys improving digital experiences, coordinating project delivery and working with a broad range of stakeholders.
Working as part of an established Online team, you will play a key role in transitioning an existing SharePoint Classic intranet to a modern SharePoint environment, with a revised information architecture designed to improve usability, accessibility and content findability.

Key responsibilities include
- Supporting the redevelopment and migration of a large SharePoint intranet from Classic to Modern.
- Reviewing existing pages and content, mapping them to a revised information architecture and recommending improvements to usability and content structure.
- Working with content owners and publishers to improve content quality, accessibility, metadata and document tagging.
- Facilitating stakeholder workshops to gather requirements, communicate changes and gain buy-in for the new intranet structure.
- Contributing to communication, change management and training activities to support the transition to the new workplace.
About you
- Practical experience with SharePoint Modern and a sound understanding of SharePoint Classic, including page and intranet management.
- Experience contributing to large-scale intranet or website redevelopment projects.
- Strong digital content and user experience (UX) skills, including information architecture and content mapping.
- Experience coordinating project activities, maintaining delivery documentation and tracking progress against milestones.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills, with the ability to facilitate workshops and work collaboratively with content owners, publishers and technical teams.
Experience supporting a major SharePoint migration or intranet transformation project will be highly regarded. On offer is a contract role through to May 2027, attractive hourly rates - $79.14 to $84.55 per hour plus super.
