Qualifications & experience

Demonstrated experience in accounting or bookkeeping, with basic accounting skills as a minimum.

Strong organisational skills with the ability to meet strict deadlines and reporting schedules.

High level of accuracy and attention to detail in all work outputs.

Proven ability to take ownership of assigned tasks and follow them through to completion.

Problem-solving skills and a collaborative approach to resolving issues.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and the ability to learn current financial systems quickly.

Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Tasks & responsibilities

Responsible for a wide range of duties to support the Disclosure Team, including:

Keeping track of supplier expenses, credit card transactions, and maintaining related documentation.





Assisting with reconciling membership fee, donations, and merchandise purchases accurately. Reconciling donations and issuing receipts to donors.

Keep track of inter-branch account transfers.

Providing timely responses to disclosure-related queries and collaborating with team members to resolve discrepancies.

Responsible for preparation of AEC and NSWEC financial disclosures including weekly reconciliations; collation of Party Unit financial returns.

Provide timely coordination, communication and support to the Director of Compliance.

Follow-up for Financial Return forms and donor confirmation.

Performing other ad hoc disclosure duties as required to support the broader Disclosure Team.
