Forest Super Foods
Melbourne
A diverse, hands-on role supporting customers, wholesale partners and day-to-day operations at Forest Super Foods. One moment you might be solving a customer problem, the next helping manufacture products, working with wholesale customers, or jumping on a forklift to assist with a delivery. This is not a job where you do one thing all day.
Key responsibilities
Customer experience - approximately 10 hours per week, including around seven hours handling customer emails and three hours answering phone calls. Resolve issues thoughtfully, manage returns and help customers have an exceptional experience.
Support wholesale customers, process and follow up on orders, proactively chase outstanding matters and keep partners informed.
Work alongside the existing team in the Bayswater warehouse. Be ready to help with manufacturing, packing, dispatch, deliveries and forklift tasks as business needs change.
Identify recurring questions, friction points and unnecessary manual work. Introduce better documentation, customer self-service, automation and AI-assisted workflows, while maintaining high service standards.
About you
An exceptional all-rounder. Comfortable switching between customers, systems and physical tasks without losing momentum.
A high-output self-starter. You spot what needs doing, take initiative and follow tasks through.
A natural problem solver. You fix root causes, not just the same issue over and over again.
Customer-focused. You communicate clearly, care about the details and make sure people feel looked after.
Tech-confident. You are quick to learn software, curious about AI and automation,
and keen to improve processes.
Practical and team-minded. Happy to work at a computer, on the warehouse floor or wherever help is most valuable.
Ambitious. You want to earn greater responsibility and eventually lead operations.
Experience in ecommerce or an internet-based business, customer service, wholesale, warehousing or manufacturing is advantageous.
Familiarity with Shopify or similar ecommerce and operational systems is a bonus.
Forklift licence: A current licence is welcome but not required. If you do not have one, Forest Super Foods will pay for your training and licensing. You must be willing and comfortable to learn to operate a forklift safely as part of the role.
