Goldspring Group is a privately owned company specialising in Civil, Rail, Mining, Plant-Hire and Transport working within the industry environments.

We require the services of an experienced Plant and Transport Allocator, where the primary objective of this role position is the prompt and accurate forward planning and scheduling of the companies Plant and Transport assets. This Includes the allocation of the resources for the defined scope of works internally and externally for the Goldspring Group, ensuring the highest possible utilisation of all plant, transport and personnel daily/weekly/monthly.

This is a fast-paced role and requires a candidate that copes well under pressure and has great people skills. Current knowledge of NHVL is desirable for this role as heavy vehicle compliance and experience in mass and dimension permits for this role is required. Duties

- Commitment to Zero Harm. Support the elimination and control of hazards within the work environment.
- Promote a healthy, disciplined and reliable team to deliver planning.
- Direct allocation management and leadership of assets and personnel ensuring a heightened utilisation.
- The allocation and load planning of plant for transport using our allocations software.
- Liaise with internal/external customers, generating the ongoing pipeline of work.
- Form relationships with subcontractor transport services.

Key Responsibilities

- Actively participate in resource meetings,



project planning & launch phases of new projects.
- Commercial management of all plant and transport work undertaken.
- Liase closely with peers in the allocation and planning of works.
- Daily allocation of plant and transport jobs for the company and any sub-contract drivers.
- Daily collation and recording of all jobs including the management of personnel dockets and timesheets.
- Working with our customers and accounts receivable on accurate invoice processing.
- Relevant permits for state and interstate routes to NHVR.
- Driver work diary and consignment documentation management

To be successful in this challenging, busy position you must be able to demonstrate the following skills or attributes:

- Minimum 3 years' experience in the same or similar role.
- Competent computer skills and experience with Microsoft Word, Excel and Assignar or similar software program.
- Current Drivers Licence.
- Proactive approach to the position.
- Strong team player.
- Understanding of Workplace Health and Safety and CoR.
- Excellent Oral and Written Communication skills.
- Good customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to handle 10 - 12 hour days as/when required.

Preferred Criteria

- WHS Construction Induction Card.
- Sound knowledge of Civil, Rail & Mining Industries.
