About the role

We are seeking a Certificate III Qualified Educator or someone willing to study to join our early childhood team at The Learning Jungle and Lifetime Learners. This is a full-time position offering an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of young children during their crucial developmental years. You will work within our supportive and collaborative team environment, delivering high-quality early childhood education and care that nurtures development and wellbeing. This role is essential to our mission of providing exceptional educational experiences to the children in our care.

Key responsibilities

- Planning and delivering developmentally appropriate learning experiences and activities for children that support their cognitive, social, emotional and physical development
- Creating a safe, welcoming and stimulating learning environment that encourages exploration and play-based learning
- Building positive relationships with children and families, supporting transitions and addressing individual needs
- Observing and documenting children's learning and development to inform practice and communicate progress to families
- Maintaining high standards of hygiene, health and safety in accordance with relevant legislation and regulations
- Collaborating with colleagues to support team cohesion and share best practice




- Supporting children's behaviour management and emotional regulation through positive guidance and role modelling
- Engaging with families through regular communication and fostering strong partnerships
- Contributing to continuous professional development and remaining current with early childhood education practices

What we're looking for

- A Certificate III of Early Childhood Education and Care or equivalent qualification, or genuine willingness to undertake this qualification whilst employed
- Current First Aid and CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
- A genuine passion for working with young children and supporting their development
- Solid communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with children, families and colleagues
- Take an active responsibility for protecting children from harm and promoting their safety, wellbeing and rights at all times
- Maintain appropriate supervision and follow all child-safe policies, procedures and reporting requirements
- Recognise, respond to and report any concerns relating to a child’s safety or wellbeing in accordance with your responsibilities
- The ability to work collaboratively within a team environment and contribute to a supportive culture
- A commitment to maintaining high standards of child safety, health and wellbeing
- Patience, creativity and the ability to remain calm in a busy environment
- A willingness to engage in professional development and reflect on practice
- Working with Children Check clearance or willingness to obtain (mandatory requirement)
