This is a genuine 2IC role in a boutique Brisbane southside practice. The Director has built a $3M fee base entirely through referrals, growing 20% year on year, and is now looking for a Senior Manager to step in, lead the team and report directly to her.
The role
Manage and review the work of a team of six CA/CPA qualified accountants, many of them experienced seniors
Build a proper review and sign off process across the practice
Build out the firm’s workpapers using a contemporary tech stack
Take on new clients as the firm continues to grow
Work with clients turning over $350k to $50M across childcare, property development, medical, mining and legal
Business services focus, plus around 50 SMSFs on BGL
Support from an offshore team member
About you
CA or CPA qualified with manager level experience in public practice business services
Strong technical reviewer and experience using a modern tech stack
Confident running client relationships and ready to move toward ownership
