Geography Teacher – Role and Responsibilities
You will plan and deliver lessons covering physical landscapes, urban environments, population, development, climate and resource management. Students should learn to interpret maps and data, evaluate case studies and develop well-supported explanations of geographical processes.
Responsibilities include:
- Delivering high-quality Geography lessons across KS3 and KS4.
- Teaching physical and human Geography in line with curriculum requirements.
- Preparing students for GCSE assessments and examinations.
- Developing map-reading, data interpretation and extended-writing skills.
- Using case studies to explore real-world geographical issues.
- Encouraging students to evaluate environmental and social challenges.
