ISN Clinics is seeking experienced Board-Approved Supervisors to join our team as Casual Clinic Duty Supervisors, supporting provisional psychologists undertaking clinical placements.
We welcome applications from registered general psychologists and psychologists with endorsements in Clinical Psychology, Clinical Neuropsychology or Educational and Developmental Psychology.
About the role
We are currently seeking casual supervisors to provide support on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. Applicants are welcome to take on one, two or all three shifts, depending on their availability.
Available shift times (AEDT) are:
9:30 am – 5:30 pm: Monday, Wednesday and Friday
11:30 am – 7:30 pm: Monday and Wednesday only
In this role, you will provide clinical supervision and guidance to provisional psychologists undertaking cognitive and ADHD assessments, support clinical decision-making, and review psychological assessment reports.
You will also provide guidance on clinical risk assessment, mandatory reporting obligations and appropriate escalation of clinical concerns.
Experience using Zanda (client management software) and Microsoft Teams is advantageous, although training will be provided.
About you
Successful applicants will have:
- Current AHPRA registration as a psychologist and Board-Approved Supervisor status.
- Demonstrated experience administering and interpreting cognitive assessments, including the WAIS, WISC and WIAT.
- Experience conducting ADHD assessments, including the DIVA and Young DIVA (Y-DIVA).
- Experience supervising provisional psychologists in cognitive and ADHD assessments.
- Strong skills in reviewing, providing feedback on and co-signing psychological assessment reports.
- Demonstrated experience in clinical risk assessment, risk management and mandatory reporting.
- Strong clinical judgement, communication and organisational skills.
- A supportive, team-oriented approach to supervision, with a commitment to developing student competencies and confidence.
