HDE Group is seeking an experienced Commercial Electrical Technician to join our Brisbane Service team, working Part-time, approximately 2 days per week.

This role will be responsible for conducting monthly service tasks for our base building Service Maintenance Agreements. Tasks will involve, Emergency Light testing, Test & Tag and RCD testing. The role can also extend to involvement with after hours Building Load tests and Generator servicing. Monthly schedule will be provided in advance and the expectation is that there will be approximately 60 hours per month scheduled.

You will work with our job management platform (Aroflo), conducting site risk analysis/JSA's, testing and reporting. The systems are processes are in place and a supportive head office scheduling team will guide you all the way. You will report to a Service Manager, who is responsible for the performance of our service contract by specific building.

This is not an entry position as we expect you have experience across these service streams. You know what is involved and it meets the requirement of what you are looking for at this stage of your career.

The role

As a member of our Service team, you will be responsible for:

- Completing planned preventative maintenance across premium commercial properties
- Communicating professionally with facility managers and Tier 1 clients
- Sharing your technical knowledge and supporting the continued development of our technicians
- Completing all work in accordance with Australian Standards, client requirements and HDE’s quality and safety systems

About you





We are looking for someone who has experience across commercial electrical environments and is confident working independently while leading by example.

We hope you have:

- An unrestricted Queensland electrical licence
- Extensive experience as a commercial electrician or electrical service technician
- Can demonstrate fault-finding and problem-solving capabilities
- Experience working on premium commercial properties or with Tier 1 clients
- A skilled approach to client communication and site presentation
- A willingness to share your knowledge and contribute to the development of the wider team
- A current driver’s licence, White Card and CPR/LVR accreditation
