Provide resolute, in office planning support to one of BRi customers across Australia, helping coordinate international shipments from supplier booking through to delivery. The successful candidate will be recruited and employed by BRi but work as an integrated member of Clients team. Collaborating with Customer day-to-day leadership, they will connect all parties across the international and domestic supply chain with an emphasis on improving shipment visibility, problem solving, supply chain iniaitives and cost savings.

Key responsibilities

- Coordinate purchase order and shipment requirements with Customer teams across Australia.
- Consult with suppliers, overseas offices and BRi operations to monitor cargo readiness, bookings, sailing schedules, and documentation.
- Maintain an accurate view of shipments from booking through to final delivery.
- Monitor routing and carrier selection against agreed instructions.
- Support and drive container carrier agreements within the agreed commercial arrangements.
- Coordinate with BRi and transport services to align deliveries with Clients receiving capacity and operational priorities.
- Monitor shipment arrivals, customs and biosecurity clearance, container availability, and delivery bookings.
- Identify potential delays, detention, demurrage,



and other avoidable costs early and coordinate corrective action.
- Function as the on-site contact for day-to-day logistics enquiries, following issues through to resolution.
- Provide timely updates on shipment changes, delays, cost implications, and decisions required.

About you

- Demonstrated experience in international freight forwarding, import coordination or supply chain coordination.
- A sound understanding of ocean freight, particularly full container load imports.
- Experience coordinating overseas suppliers, freight agents, and Australian transport providers.
- Understanding shipping documentation, customs and biosecurity processes, and container detention and demurrage.
- Strong organization, diligence, and the ability to manage multiple shipments and competing priorities.
- Confident communication skills and the ability to build effective relationships across different teams.
- Good Excel skills and experience using freight or shipment tracking systems.
- Ability to work independently on site and take ownership of issues through to resolution.
