Senior Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Technicians

Air Everywhere NSW is seeking experienced Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Technicians to join our growing team in Artarmon, NSW. This is a full time position offering the opportunity to take on a leadership role within our technical operations. As a Senior Technician, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality refrigeration and air conditioning services whilst mentoring junior staff and ensuring excellence across all installations and maintenance work. This role is ideal for skilled professionals looking to progress their career whilst maintaining hands‑on technical expertise.

Key responsibilities

Install, maintain, repair and service refrigeration and air conditioning systems across residential, commercial and industrial applications

Diagnose complex mechanical and electrical faults using specialised testing equipment and provide effective solutions

Conduct system inspections, performance tests and preventative maintenance to ensure optimal functionality and compliance with industry standards

Mentor and supervise junior technicians, providing on-the-job training and guidance to develop their technical skills

Prepare detailed quotations and work reports for clients, communicating technical information clearly

Ensure all work complies with relevant safety regulations, environmental standards and company procedures

Maintain accurate documentation of all work completed, parts used and time spent on each job

Liaise with clients to understand their requirements and ensure satisfaction with completed work

Contribute to the planning and scheduling of technician workloads and project timelines

What we're looking for

Current ARC Licence (Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Contractor) or equivalent certification demonstrating competency in the field

Minimum 5 years' experience in refrigeration and air conditioning installation, maintenance and repair work

Advanced technical knowledge of refrigerant handling,



electrical systems, mechanical components and system diagnostics

Proven experience in supervising and training junior technicians or apprentices

Strong understanding of safety regulations, environmental compliance and industry best practices

Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics and system specifications

Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex system faults efficiently

Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to clients and team members

Valid driver's licence and police check

Experience with commercial and industrial systems preferred
