THE ROLE

We are seeking a motivated and hands-on Assistant Manager to support the daily operations of a busy quick-service restaurant in Brisbane.Working closely with the Restaurant Manager, you will help lead the team, maintain operational standards and ensure customers receive fast, friendly and consistent service. From coordinating shifts and coaching team members to overseeing food quality, cleanliness and service speed, you will play an important role in the restaurant's overall performance.This is an ideal opportunity for an emerging hospitality leader who enjoys a fast-paced workplace, leads by example and is ready to take the next step in their management career.You will assist with staff training, rostering, stock control, food safety, customer service and operational performance, while helping build a positive team culture and ensuring the restaurant runs smoothly during busy trading periods.

YOUR SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

To be successful in this role, you will have:

- Previous experience in a supervisory or management role within quick-service restaurants, retail,



or any high-volume hospitality establishments, showing strong leadership skills and the ability to motivate, coach and develop a team.
- A customer-first attitude, with a commitment to delivering friendly and efficient service.
- An understanding of food safety, hygiene, cleanliness and workplace health and safety requirements.
- Experience coordinating shifts, allocating tasks and supporting daily restaurant operations.
- Strong communication and organisational skills, with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
- A hands-on approach and willingness to work alongside the team during busy service periods.
- Flexibility to work a rotating roster, including evenings, weekends and public holidays as required.
- A positive attitude, initiative and a genuine interest in developing a career in hospitality management.
