For 15 years we have operated a family owned business based in Tamworth NSW offering a variety of services includes water delivery to the Northwest Slopes and Plains/ New England and bulk and heavy haulage both local and long distance.

We are currently looking for motivated drivers with a minimum HC/MC licence and 3 years experience at that level in the trucking industry to drive a variety of trucks including truck and dog/ A-double/B-double and rigid depending on the business needs.

Responsibilities

Safely operate our variety of vehicles within company policies and legal requirements

Perform daily pre-start checks, electronic forms and maintain vehicle cleanliness

Communicate in a respectful manner with both customers and co-workers.

Mechanical apptitue and ability to carry out basic maintenance work

This position will require traveling away for up to 5 1/2 days a week (staying in the truck's sleeper cab) at times, as well as local work in water carts depending on demand and business needs. Please do not apply if you are not willing to work away from home during the week.

Applicants are asked to provide a resume or short statement showing how they meet the essential and desirable criteria as listed below as well as which position they are applying for:

Minimum HC licence with experience (tipper/bulk cartage an advantage)

Minimum 3+ years of HC licence driving experience

Understanding of PBS scheme, mass and fatigue management and competency in completing log book where required.

Construction industry White card or willingness to obtain

Ability to be flexible with work hours as this position will include harvest work and ongoing grain cartage throughout northern and central NSW.

Confident in driving in urban areas

Fit and healthy (manual handling, pass drug/alcohol testing)

Applicants must be Australian permanent residents or citizens

Mechanical knowledge and skills

MC licence with A-double and B-double experience

Experience in oversize transport

Experience in tipper trucks carting grain/fertiliser/quarry products

Based in the Tamworth area

Have medical/BFM accreditation or willingness to obtain.
