Assistant Production Operator | Monday–Friday | Forklift Licence Required

Join Ausperl's Padstow manufacturing team as a Plant Operator. You'll work alongside an experienced Lead Operator, with training provided and the prospect to progress into a more senior operating role. This is an active, physically demanding role involving bag handling, palletising and working around industrial equipment.

Key responsibilities

Assist with plant preparation, start-up and shutdown.

Operate bagging equipment and check product weights and labels.

Operate a forklift and prepare finished pallets for storage.

Take product samples and record production and quality results.

Assist with equipment checks, minor maintenance and cleaning.

Work closely with the Lead Operator to maintain safe production and complete shift handovers.

About you

Availability to work the rotating shifts including night shift.

Reliability and a commitment to working safely.





A willingness to learn and follow operating procedures.

Attention to detail and the ability to work well in a team.

Experience in warehousing, forklift operation, manufacturing or production is welcome.

Full time employment with a Monday–Friday roster.
