Experienced in Property Management? Looking for a Role That Fits Around Family Life?
If you have property management experience but no longer want the demands of managing a full portfolio, this could be the ideal opportunity.
We're looking for an experienced Assistant Property Manager to join our team in McDowall, working family-friendly hours that fit comfortably within the school day.
This is a genuine property management role where your existing knowledge and experience will be valued. You'll provide hands-on support across the day-to-day management of our residential portfolio, without carrying the responsibility of managing an entire portfolio on your own.
For an experienced Property Manager returning to the industry, balancing work with school-aged children, or simply looking for shorter and more predictable working hours, this role offers the opportunity to stay in the industry and use your skills without work taking over your family life.
Why This Role?
Family-friendly working week: Work approximately 9:00 am to 3:00 pm, Monday to Friday. Flexible to vary work hours to suit your schedule.
Designed for experienced Property Managers: Put your existing knowledge to use in a role with less pressure than sole responsibility for a full portfolio.
No full portfolio responsibility: Support the property management operation without having to carry every aspect of a portfolio yourself.
Varied property management work: Stay actively involved across leasing, inspections, maintenance, tenancy administration and client communication.
Established systems and procedures: Work with clear processes, digital systems and structured workflows.
Supportive management:
Work as part of the Manly Management team with experienced people available when you need assistance.
The Role
Working alongside our property management team, you'll assist with the day-to-day operation of the portfolio. Your responsibilities will include:
Responding to tenant and owner enquiries
Assisting with tenancy applications and tenant onboarding
Preparing tenancy documentation and lease renewals
Coordinating routine, entry and exit inspections
Following up maintenance requests and contractors
Assisting with rent arrears and tenancy administration
Preparing and processing RTA documentation
Communicating professionally with owners, tenants and contractors
Following up outstanding property management tasks through to completion
Providing general administrative and operational support to the Property Manager
The role is intended to make good use of your existing property management experience, so you'll be trusted to manage routine matters independently while having support available for more complex issues.
Required Experience & Qualifications
Previous residential property management experience in Queensland
Proficiency with PropertyMe and performing digital inspections
A sound working knowledge of Queensland residential tenancy processes
Solid organisational and time-management skills
High attention to detail when preparing documentation and maintaining property records
Confidence using cloud-based property management systems and digital workflows
The ability to work independently and follow tasks through to completion
A current Queensland real estate registration
A current driver's licence and reliable transport
Experience with Reapit Letting and Realworks would be highly regarded.
