Casual Function and Events Supervisor – Waters Edge & Riverlife

Due to current strong growth in functions, the Fresh team in Brisbane has an immediate vacancy for an experienced Function and Events Supervisor to join their Service brigade at our premier Waters Edge and Riverlife venues. Work across a diverse variety of stunning waterfront function and event spaces, where no two days are ever the same.

The Role

- Casual position with flexible working hours between Monday - Sunday
- Lead and manage events across multiple spaces at Waters Edge and Riverlife
- Oversee all service aspects from setup to service to pack down
- Supervise a team of skilled waitstaff and bartenders
- Act as the primary client liaison throughout the event
- Collaborate closely with the culinary team to ensure seamless service
- Maintain high standards of communication and professionalism

What we're Looking For

- 6â12 months previous experience as a Head Waiter or Venue Supervisor
- Must have previous function experience
- Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
- Exceptional attention to detail and a can-do attitude
- Passion for creating memorable event experiences

You’ll also bring:

- Strong knowledge and enthusiasm for food and beverage
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
