Snazzle is looking for a self-motivated Sales and Merchandising Representative to service and grow an established customer base across Sydney South and West. This is an autonomous, field-based role for someone who enjoys being on the road, building customer relationships and delivering reliable service.
Important travel requirement
This role includes overnight trips to regional NSW customers approximately one to two times per month. Applicants must be available and comfortable staying away from home.
Key Responsibilities
- Visit customers in-store on a fixed, rotating purchase cycle.
- Maintain regular customer contact to provide customer service, follow up requirements and identify opportunities for growth.
- Present and promote new product ranges to existing and prospective customers.
- Set up general and seasonal greeting card stands and refill existing spinners and displays.
- Keep displays tidy, correctly arranged and well stocked.
- Generate orders, obtain customer sign-off and process returns or credit requests when required.
- Use the sales platform to manage the order-to-invoice process and maintain accurate customer information.
Role Expectations
- Maintain and grow the territory's current sales targets.
- Plan customer visits, driving routes, follow-ups and administration with professional time management.
- Build strong relationships with existing customers and pursue suitable recent business opportunities.
- Work independently while meeting agreed customer service and sales standards.
- Service customers throughout Sydney South and West and travel to regional NSW for overnight trips.
About You
- Current unrestricted Australian driver's licence.
- Confident driving a large delivery van such as a Mercedes-Benz Sprinter, Volkswagen Crafter or similar.
- Physically capable of driving, delivering stock, refilling displays and completing store set-ups.
- Highly motivated, target driven and comfortable working autonomously.
- Strong communication, organisation and time-management skills.
- Available for overnight regional travel away from home. This is essential.
