About the role

We are seeking a agile and experienced Dealership Finance & Insurance Manager to join our team on a full-time basis at our Caroline Springs, VIC 3023 location. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for maximising dealership profitability through the effective management of finance and insurance products. You will play a crucial role in guiding customers through the financial aspects of their vehicle purchase, whilst ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and industry standards. This position offers significant strategic importance to our dealership's bottom line and customer satisfaction metrics.

Key responsibilities

- Presenting and arranging vehicle finance options to customers, ensuring they understand all available products and services
- Facilitating the sale of insurance products, extended warranties, and aftermarket protection packages
- Negotiating with financial institutions and lenders to secure competitive rates and terms for customers
- Preparing and processing all finance documentation, ensuring accuracy and compliance with legislative requirements
- Managing the finance approval process and liaising with lenders to expedite approvals
- Maintaining detailed records of all finance and insurance transactions
- Developing and implementing strategies to increase finance penetration and product sales
- Training and mentoring dealership staff on finance and insurance products and processes




- Monitoring key performance indicators and reporting on finance and insurance metrics
- Ensuring all activities comply with relevant consumer protection legislation, industry codes and dealership policies

What we’re looking for

- Minimum 5 years experience as a Finance Manager or Finance & Insurance Manager within an automotive dealership environment
- Strong knowledge of vehicle finance products, insurance products, and aftermarket protection plans
- Excellent understanding of Australian consumer protection laws and automotive industry regulations
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong relationships with financial institutions and lenders
- Exceptional sales skills with a proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets
- Outstanding communication and negotiation abilities
- Strong organisational and administrative skills with meticulous attention to detail
- Proficiency in dealership management systems and Microsoft Office applications
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
- Commitment to providing outstanding customer service
- Relevant qualifications or certifications in finance, insurance, or sales (preferred)
