Location: Coastal SA
Hours:Permanent Fulltime Monday-Friday
Salary: $130k + Super & Salary Packaging
Start date: ASAP

An exciting opportunity for an experienced ANUM to step into nursing management, build a high-performing team and develop their leadership career within a supportive coastal health service.

You will oversee a 27-bed mixed ward across medical, surgical, midwifery and rehabilitation services, ensuring safe, high-quality, person-centred care while leading daily operations, workforce planning and staff development. Reporting directly to the Director of Nursing, you’ll be supported by an ANUM and fellow NUMs across Emergency, Theatre and Chemotherapy.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide visible, approachable clinical and operational leadership
- Coordinate patient flow, admissions, discharges and bed utilisation
- Lead workforce planning, rostering and day-to-day people management
- Support staff development, performance and a positive team culture
- Manage resources, clinical governance and quality improvement
- Provide hands-on clinical support when required

Requirements:

- AHPRA RN registration
- 3+ years’ post-registration nursing experience
- Demonstrated leadership ability - experienced ANUMs ready to step up
- Background in medical, surgical, midwifery or rehabilitation nursing
- Strong organisational,



communication and problem-solving skills
- A collaborative approach, willingness to listen and interest in learning
