24-hour Emergency Department
10 bed Intensive Care Unit
17 bed Coronary Care Unit
9 Operating Theatres including a Hybrid Theatre, and Cardiac Catheter Laboratory.
Day Surgery Centre including two operating theatres and an endoscopy suite.
Short Stay Unit
Medical & Surgical Wards
Consulting Suites (on-site and off-site)
Pathology
Radiation Oncology (operated by ICON)
About the role
Opportunities exist for enthusiastic and energetic individual to join our friendly and growing team on part time basis (3 days per week). The role of a Food Monitor is a vital function to the provision of a high level of customer service to our patients.
Criteria
- Experience in a food preparation / serving
- Food Handlers Certificate
- Minimum one year of experience in Menu Monitor role
- Stock rotation
- Good working knowledge and understanding of HACCP regulations
- Demonstrated commitment to customer service and quality improvement
- Proven ability to maintain a high degree of hygiene and cleanliness in all aspects of food production and distribution
- Strong customer service focus, that is both professional and courteous
- Demonstrated ability to deliver a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Liaising with Food Services Assistants, Food Services Manager regarding individual patient nutritional requirements
- Ability to work under pressure, managing multiple and shifting priorities
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to liaise effectively with other team members from varying departments
- Available for shifts over a 7 day roster including weekend work
- Experience in hospital or hotel food service workplace preferred
- The successful applicant will be required to provide evidence of a current Working with Children Check and Police Check.
