Appleseed Gardening is looking for a landscaper to join our team. Experience is essential. A great opportunity for a qualified landscaper or third-year Apprentice studying Cert III Landscape Construction.

We are a boutique landscape construction and garden maintenance company based in Marrickville, growing at a fantastic rate, and looking for a new hands-on team member.

What Do We Do

Based in the Inner West of Sydney with the majority of our jobs in the area, we specialise in the design and construction of small residential gardens. We offer services in paving, timber and stone work, decking, block work, irrigation and drainage, planting, turfing and all soft-scapes.

What We Are Looking For

- A local team player, with a keen eye for detail
- Someone with a positive sense of humour, with a passion for working outside
- Experience in aspects of landscape construction, including use of relevant tools and machinery
- Skills to work within a small team of landscape workers on-site, and the ability to coordinate and prioritise daily tasks
- Arrange and co-ordinate supplies and deliveries, liaise with clients and suppliers as needed
- Ensure the safety of all workers and compliance with OHS regulations.
- Problem-solve any issues that arise in office.

What You Need

- Qualification in landscape construction,



or finishing up your Cert III with experience in the landscape construction industry.
- Experience working in a small team with good communication skills.
- Ability to read and interpret plans and specifications.
- Understanding of health and safety regulations.
- Holds a driver's license and has the necessary visa/working rights in Australia.
- Confident with site preparation and work unsupervised.

Preferred Skills:

- Proactive in making constructive suggestions and observations during construction.
- Good understanding of landscape construction techniques, standards, and tolerances.
- Efficient and cooperative, working seamlessly under guidance from tradespeople and site manager
