About the role

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Production Biotechnologist to join our talented manufacturing team. This is a full-time, hands-on role based in our production facility (process work, not laboratory-based), operating on a rotating roster that includes afternoon shifts.

As a key member of our manufacturing operations, you will be directly involved in the execution and optimisation of biotechnological production processes, ensuring product quality, consistency, and efficiency. This position plays a vital role in supporting our rapidly growing biotechnology business as we continue to deliver innovative products and solutions to the market.

A day in the life:

- Operate and monitor production equipment to ensure consistent and high-quality outputs.
- Troubleshoot any production issues and implement corrective actions to minimise disruptions.
- Maintain detailed and accurate records and prepare reports on production activities and quality metrics.
- Conduct routine testing and analysis of raw materials, in-process samples, and final products to maintain quality standards.




- Ensure strict adherence to all health, safety, and environmental regulations.

What you bring to the role:

- Strong technical skills and understanding of production equipment, quality control procedures, and good manufacturing practices.
- Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, and decision-making abilities.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills to work within a team environment.
- Meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of quality.
- Commitment to maintaining strict quality standards and safety procedures.
- Physically capable to handle up to 20kg.
- The ability to, and preference for working on your feet all day.
- Demonstrated ability to learn scientific concepts and ideas.

Nice to have:

- Previous experience working in manufacturing environments.
- Previous experience working in Pharmaceutical or Biotechnological industries, with an understanding of aseptic technique.
- Qualification in Chemical, Biological, or Pharmaceutical science (Biochemistry, Microbiology, etc...)
