We’re now seeking a qualified Veterinary Nurse to join our friendly, dynamic team in Internal Medicine.
About You
You’re passionate about patient care and thrive in a role where no two shifts are the same. You enjoy working in a supportive, energetic team environment, where collaboration and good-natured banter are part of the culture. You’re organised, adaptable, enthusiastic, and an excellent communicator who can multitask in a fast-paced setting.
You will ideally have:
- Cert IV in Veterinary Nursing or Bachelor of Veterinary Technology
- Minimum 3 years of nursing experience (specialty nursing experience highly regarded)
- A passion for Internal Medicine
- High standards, attention to detail, and honesty
- Strong time management and organisational skills
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Knowledge of Rx Works / Smart Flow (desirable but not essential)
Key Responsibilities:
- Inpatient treatments and care
- Patient recovery and monitoring
- IV catheter placement and fluid therapy
- Blood collection and use of in-house lab equipment
- Anaesthesia
- Radiology (including CT & MRI imaging)
- Assisting with specialty ultrasonography
- Equipment cleaning and maintenance
