We are seeking a hands-on Field Service Engineer to maintain, troubleshoot and repair specialised equipment across Sydney.

This role is ideal for a trade-qualified technician or engineer with a background in mechanical, electrical or electronics who enjoys practical problem-solving, customer interaction and working independently in the field.

You will travel to various customer sites around Sydney to carry out preventative maintenance, respond to equipment faults and install new equipment. A company car is provided for work use.

Key Responsibilities

- Troubleshoot, service and repair equipments.

- Perform scheduled preventative maintenance and respond to equipment breakdowns.

- Diagnose mechanical, electrical and electronic faults using diagnostic tools, multimeters and equipment software.

- Replace mechanical components, motors, rollers, belts and other internal parts.

- Assist with equipment installations, upgrades and commissioning at customer sites.

- Complete service reports, maintenance records and other technical documentation.

- Communicate professionally with customers, subcontractors and internal stakeholders.

- Maintain tools, testing equipment and spare parts records.





- Follow all safety procedures and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

- Provide technical support and guidance to junior team members when required.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

- A Certificate III trade qualification or degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics or a related discipline.

- Ideally, at least 2 years of relevant technical, maintenance or field service experience.

- Robust troubleshooting and fault-finding skills across mechanical, electrical or electronic systems.

- A current provisional or unrestricted driver's licence.

- The ability to obtain the required security clearances and industry licences.

- Strong communication skills and a customer-focused approach.

- The ability to work autonomously, manage competing priorities and travel between customer sites around Sydney.

- Company car provided for work use.
