You'll work directly with business owners on meaningful tax and advisory work. You'll have regular access to the Partners, with the support of a capable team around you and without the layers of bureaucracy found in larger firms. With a central Burswood location and free on-site parking, you get easy access to the city without the CBD commute or parking costs.
Key responsibilities
- Managing a portfolio of SME clients across a range of industries
- Preparing and reviewing tax returns and financial statements for companies, trusts, partnerships and individuals
- Providing proactive tax planning and structuring advice
- Working on advisory projects including business growth, succession and restructuring
- Building strong, long-term client relationships as their trusted point of contact
- Reviewing work and mentoring junior team members
- Liaising with the ATO on behalf of clients
About you
- 4+ years' experience in Australian public practice
- CA or CPA qualified, or well progressed
- Strong technical tax knowledge across Division 7A, CGT, trusts and small business concessions
- Confident communicating with clients and you enjoy the advisory side of the job
- Experience with Xero,
MYOB and/or practice management software
- You value relationships, take pride in your work, and want to be part of a supportive team
