About the Role Due to continued growth, the firm is seeking a motivated Junior or Intermediate Accountant to join its friendly and experienced team.

Working closely with a Senior Manager, you will receive ongoing mentoring while gaining exposure to a broad range of accounting, taxation, and business advisory services.

Your responsibilities will include:

Preparing financial statements, income tax returns and BAS for individuals, companies, trusts, and partnerships

Assisting with taxation compliance and general business services

Liaising with the ATO, ASIC and other relevant authorities

Working closely with senior team members to deliver quality work and excellent client outcomes

Gaining exposure to tax planning and business advisory services as your experience develops

About You To be considered for this opportunity, you will ideally have:

A minimum of 18 months' experience in Australian public practice accounting, within Tax & Business Services

Relevant tertiary qualifications in Accounting

An interest in completing, or currently studying towards, your CA or CPA qualification

Experience with Xero or similar accounting software

Strong communication skills and excellent attention to detail

A positive, motivated attitude and a genuine desire to continue developing your accounting career
