Join Golding at Curragh Mine near Blackwater and play a key role in driving a strong safety culture across site operations. We're looking for an experienced Safety Advisor who can confidently influence stakeholders, lead risk-based safety initiatives, and support operational teams to achieve safe and successful outcomes.
This is an 8/6 DIDO role from Central Queensland, with camp accommodation provided if required.
What you'll be doing:
Leading and facilitating risk assessments
Supporting incident investigations and reporting
Conducting audits, inspections, and safety observations
Assisting leaders with SHET compliance and improvement initiatives
Maintaining SHET systems, registers, and reporting requirements
Delivering inductions and contributing to site communication forums
What you'll bring:
Minimum 2 years' mining experience
Strong experience in risk assessments, auditing, and incident investigations
Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence and support teams
DIDO role with camp accommodation provided if required
Robust safety culture with a genuine focus on employee wellbeing and support
