About the Role
As our Donor Acquisition & Development Lead, you will play a key role in shaping and delivering strategies to attract new supporters, generate quality donor leads and create meaningful pathways for ongoing engagement. Working collaboratively across our fundraising teams, you will identify opportunities to grow our supporter base, strengthen donor journeys and improve conversion into programs including Regular Giving, Mid Value, Major Gifts and Bequests. With a focus on innovation, insights and continuous improvement, you will help ensure our acquisition activities deliver sustainable fundraising growth.

Key responsibilities
include:
- Develop and deliver targeted donor acquisition and lead-generation strategies to grow our supporter base.
- Build and nurture a strong pipeline of prospective donors, creating effective pathways into our fundraising programs.
- Identify and test new audiences, channels and approaches to improve acquisition, engagement and conversion.
- Use data, supporter insights and performance measures to evaluate campaigns and drive continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, fundraising teams, agencies and external partners to deliver coordinated acquisition initiatives.
- Monitor acquisition performance, budgets and forecasts, providing recommendations to maximise investment and long-term donor value. About You You are a proactive and commercially minded professional who enjoys combining strategic thinking with hands-on delivery.



You understand what drives successful acquisition and engagement, and you are confident using data and insights to turn opportunities into results. To be successful in this role, you will bring:
- Demonstrated experience in fundraising, marketing, customer acquisition, lead generation or direct marketing.
- A proven ability to develop and deliver successful acquisition strategies and campaigns.
- Strong understanding of supporter or customer journeys, conversion and long-term engagement.
- Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data, measure performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Solid project management, communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Experience using CRM, marketing automation or fundraising platforms to support acquisition and engagement activities.
- A collaborative, solutions-focused approach and the ability to manage competing priorities. Experience within the not-for-profit sector, particularly in regular giving, mass fundraising or donor acquisition, will be highly regarded. Familiarity with platforms such as Salesforce, Funraisin or Ortto, along with digital acquisition, paid media and emerging technologies, would also be advantageous.
