As a clinical pharmacist, you will be a key part of our dedicated aged care pharmacy team, focused entirely on enhancing the health outcomes and quality of life for aged care residents. Moving away from traditional retail-facing operations, your role will center entirely on specialised clinical care within the residential aged care workplace.
You will serve as an accessible, trusted clinical resource on-site, directly assisting nursing staff, medical practitioners, and families with complex medication inquiries, polypharmacy management, and transitions of care. Key responsibilities
- Work as part of the aged care pharmacy team in a clinical and aged care work space
- Dispense medications and manage medication sachets and profiles
- Assist the retail team with medication questions
- Prepare, report and deliver medications and services to aged care clients
- Deliver quality, consistent and reliable pharmacy services to patients and aged care clients
