Corporate Counsel | Insurance | 12m Contract
Elevate Talent Solution is supporting one of our insurance clients with a Corporate Counsel prospect within its legal team, reporting to the Head of Legal – Corporate.
The work:
- Drafting and negotiating commercial, procurement and outsourcing agreements.
- Advising on technology contracts, software licensing, SaaS and cloud services.
- Supporting IP, privacy, data protection and cyber security matters.
- Assisting with M&A;, corporate transactions, claims and commercial disputes.
- Advising on regulatory matters and supporting regulatory enquiries and investigations.
The requirements:
- Australian admission and at least three years of legal experience.
- Strong corporate and commercial foundations, including experience negotiating technology or services agreements.
- Experience in insurance, superannuation or financial services preferred.
- Knowledge of CPS 230, CPS 234 and privacy requirements.
- Practical commercial judgement, strong stakeholder management and the ability to manage competing priorities.
