About the Role
We are looking for an experienced and organised Lead Receptionist to oversee our Mentone reception team and support the day-to-day running of the clinic. Working closely with the Clinic Partner, you will play an important role in supporting staff, coordinating reception operations and ensuring the clinic runs efficiently while maintaining a high standard of patient care. This is a hands-on leadership role suited to someone who enjoys working with people, takes initiative and can confidently manage competing priorities in a busy medical environment. ##

Key Responsibilities
- Lead and support the reception team, providing guidance and assistance with day-to-day tasks.
- Work closely with the Clinic Partner to ensure the smooth running of clinic operations.
- Oversee bookings, patient registrations, billing and phone enquiries.
- Manage patient concerns and complaints professionally.
- Assist with staff rostering, coverage and daily workflow.
- Support the training and onboarding of new team members.




- Maintain consistent reception processes and service standards.
- Work collaboratively with radiologists, sonographers and radiographers.
- Monitor team performance and identify opportunities to improve efficiency.
- Remain hands-on with reception duties and lead by example. ## About You
- Experience in a senior reception, team leader or similar leadership role.
- Medical, radiology or allied health reception experience is highly regarded.
- Strong communication skills and the confidence to manage challenging situations.
- Excellent organisational skills and the ability to prioritise in a busy environment.
- A practical, proactive approach to problem-solving.
- The ability to support, motivate and guide a team.
- A strong focus on customer service and patient care.
- Confident computer skills, with experience using medical booking or practice management systems an advantage. ##
