His Medical Clinic

Australia

Fully Remote | Flexible Hours | Weekdays, Evenings & Weekends Shape your clinical work around your life, not the other way around. Looking for a flexible clinical role that fits around your existing commitments, without the demands of a traditional consulting schedule? His Medical Clinic is seeking an experienced General Practitioner or Nurse Practitioner to support our growing telehealth service, with a particular focus on pathology, diagnostic screening, early detection and proactive healthcare. This is a predominantly non-patient-facing role, combining independent clinical assessment, pathology requests and results management with occasional short telehealth consultations. For clinicians interested in maintaining a broader scope of practice, there are also opportunities to provide general consultations, prescribing and ongoing patient care. Work remotely from anywhere in Australia, with genuine flexibility around your availability, including evenings and weekends. About His Medical Clinic His Medical Clinic is an Australian telehealth provider committed to delivering high-quality, personalised healthcare that goes well beyond the traditional online consultation. Originally established with a focus on men's sexual health, our services are expanding across diagnostic screening, early detection, hormonal and metabolic health, cardiovascular health, chronic disease management, sleep, skin, hair, mental health and broader primary care. We believe accessible healthcare should never mean compromising clinical quality. Our model combines experienced clinicians, appropriate diagnostic testing and ongoing patient support to deliver care that is as close to an in-person experience as possible. As our clinical services continue to expand, we're looking for practitioners who share our commitment to thoughtful, evidence-based medicine and genuinely good patient outcomes.

About the Role
This position offers a mix of independent clinical review and targeted patient consultations, with the flexibility to tailor the balance to your experience, interests and availability. Your primary focus will be supporting our pathology, diagnostic screening and proactive healthcare services, ensuring patients receive clinically appropriate investigations, clear guidance and timely follow-up. Your responsibilities will include:
- Reviewing patient health information, medical histories and screening questionnaires to assess the clinical appropriateness of pathology investigations.
- Requesting pathology tests where clinically indicated, in accordance with relevant guidelines and professional obligations.
- Reviewing and interpreting pathology results, identifying abnormalities and determining appropriate follow-up or escalation.

- Conducting brief telephone or video consultations where required, including explaining screening considerations, preparation requirements and obtaining informed consent.
- Communicating results and recommendations to patients and, with appropriate consent, their regular GP or other treating practitioners.
- Maintaining accurate clinical records and supporting safe, coordinated continuity of care.
- Working collaboratively with our wider clinical and patient care teams. Interested in doing more? While pathology and proactive healthcare will be the primary focus, we also welcome clinicians who would like to undertake broader telehealth consultations. Depending on your qualifications, clinical scope and interests, this may include general practice consultations, prescribing, treatment reviews and supporting our existing GPs with ongoing patient management. There is no expectation that every successful applicant will undertake the full range of these additional responsibilities. What Makes This Opportunity Different? Genuine flexibility Work remotely from anywhere in Australia. Whether you have a few hours available each week, prefer evenings or weekends, or want a more regular commitment, we're open to discussing an arrangement that works for you and the clinic. A mix of clinical and non-patient-facing work Much of the role involves independent clinical review, without the need for back-to-back patient appointments. Where consultations are required, they are generally focused, purposeful and relatively brief. Clinical autonomy Your professional judgement matters. You'll have the independence to make appropriate clinical decisions, supported by established workflows, clinical governance and clear escalation pathways. A role that can grow with you Prefer to focus primarily on pathology and diagnostic screening? That's fine. Interested in prescribing, broader consultations or taking on additional clinical responsibilities? We'd welcome that too. Progressive healthcare, grounded in evidence We're particularly interested in clinicians who truly value evidence-based practice, but are curious about emerging developments in healthcare and recognise the opportunities technology creates to improve patient outcomes.
