Position Details

Infant Jesus School, Morley is a double-stream co-educational primary school catering for children from Pre-Kindergarten to Year 6, with an approximate enrolment of 500 students. The school has a solid sense of community, with an emphasis on pastoral care and the acceptance of all cultural and social backgrounds and needs. The school enjoys a close relationship with the parish and strong support from the parent community.

Selection Criteria

- Demonstrate support for the values, mission and Catholic ethos of Catholic Education.
- Have a positive, friendly and enthusiastic attitude, with a genuine passion for supporting students with diverse learning and wellbeing needs.
- Demonstrate experience supporting students in small group and/or one-to-one learning environments.
- Build authentic, respectful and positive relationships with students, staff and families.




- Support students with academic, social, emotional and behavioural needs through patient, nurturing and responsive approaches.
- Work closely with teachers, school leaders and external professionals to implement strategies that support student engagement, participation and success.
- Consistently demonstrate excellent communication, interpersonal and organisational skills.
- Use technology effectively to support student learning and classroom programs.
- Demonstrate flexibility, resilience and a calm manner when supporting students in a dynamic school environment.

Qualifications Required

- Hold a Certificate III in School Based Education Support (or equivalent).
- Completed, or be working towards completing ‘Accreditation to Work in a Catholic School.’
- Be supportive of the objectives and ethos of Catholic Education.
