As Workshop Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day running of the workshop, ensuring jobs are completed efficiently, customers receive exceptional service and the team works together to achieve business goals. Your responsibilities will include:
- Managing the day-to-day operations of the workshop.
- Leading, motivating and developing a team of mechanics.
- Ensuring all servicing and repair work is completed to a high standard.
- Maintaining excellent customer relationships and delivering outstanding customer service.
- Monitoring daily KPIs and driving workshop productivity and profitability.
- Managing workflow, job allocation and workshop efficiency.
- Providing technical support and assisting with complex mechanical diagnostics when required.
- Maintaining high standards of workmanship, safety and professionalism.
- Helping drive the continued growth and success of the business. About You To be successful in this role, you will have:
- A recognised automotive mechanic qualification.
- A minimum of 5 years’ mechanical experience.
- Previous workshop management or team leadership experience, or the ability to step confidently into a management role.
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- The ability to lead by example and build a positive team culture.
- A strong understanding of workshop productivity and performance.
- A proactive,



can-do attitude and the drive to achieve results. You must be organised, reliable and comfortable taking responsibility for the performance of the workshop.
