Mental Health Support Workers: Community Access IC Wellness Supports | Dandenong, VIC | Casual | SCHADS Award IC Wellness Supports is a community-based NDIS provider delivering person-centred, recovery-oriented support to people living with psychosocial disability. We’re seeking two experienced Mental Health Support Workers to provide one-on-one community access support to a participant with complex needs in the Dandenong area. The role
- Support community access, social participation and personal recovery goals
- Deliver support in line with the participant’s Support Plan and safety plan
- Recognise changes in mental health presentation and use de-escalation when needed
- Work independently, following lone worker safety procedures
- Keep accurate progress notes and report incidents and concerns Essential
- Certificate III or IV in Individual Support, Disability, Community Services or Mental Health (or higher)
- At least 12 months’ experience supporting people with psychosocial disability or mental health conditions
- NDIS Worker Screening Clearance (or willingness to obtain) and Worker Orientation Module
- Current First Aid and CPR
- Driver’s licence and reliable,



comprehensively insured vehicle
- Right to work in Australia Desirable
- Experience supporting people with complex needs in community settings
- Knowledge of trauma-informed practice (training available) Hours and pay 3.5-hour shifts, 3-5 days a week, shared between two regular workers (approx. 12 hours per week each). SCHADS Award, Social and Community Services Employee Level 2. From $45.28 per hour (casual, including loading), plus weekend and public holiday penalty rates and vehicle allowance. Why ICW?
