With over 1200+ staff in APAC across 35+ disciplines, we provide global consultancy advice and support on a wide range of strategic and site-specific issues to a diverse and growing client base.We have an opportunity for a Senior Environmental Consultant to join our Environmental Approvals, Closure & Management team, based in our Perth office.The team provides a wide range of project management, environmental impact assessment, environmental advisory services across multiple sectors and clients.You’ll be working on a range of mining, infrastructure, renewables and development projects across WA. You’ll be managing project teams, liaising with clients to apply and broaden your learned expertise. This role will best suit someone between 4-8 years' experience within consulting, government or industry. You will have strengths in mentoring junior members and developing client relationships.



We offer the opportunity to collaborate on projects across the wider national team as well as between multiple disciplines within the business.ResponsibilitiesProviding advice regarding best practice environmental impact assessment and management principles to clients and internal SLR team membersProject Management of environmental approvals projects across multiple industriesAssisting in the development and implementation of team business plans and strategiesDeveloping, facilitating and enhancing effective relationships with our clients and internal SLR team membersWorking within multidisciplinary teams to deliver projectsDelivering clear and accurate, high-quality reportsOccasional travel to undertake field assessments/ site familiarisation walkoversExperienceMinimum of 4-8 years' experience in environmental roles in consulting, industry or regulationA degree in Environmental Science/Management, Environmental Engineering or a related fieldDemonstrated experience working on or leading multidisciplinary projectsDemonstrated client management expertise and business development skills advantageousDemonstrated knowledge of WA & Commonwealth environmental legislation and policies, standards and guidelines.Experience in the linear infrastructure, mining/resources, renewables, power and/or agribusiness sectors.Excellent written and verbal communication skillsFull Working Rights in AustraliaOur BenefitsWe are most proud of our team’s collaboration and expertise.
