StateCover's purpose is to keep people safe, well and working. An APRA regulated and SIRA licensed specialised insurer, we deliver workers compensation insurance solutions exclusively for local Government in NSW.

The opportunity

As our Modern Workplace Engineer, you'll play a key role in delivering and maintaining a secure, reliable and modern technology environment that enables our people to perform at their best.

Working closely with business stakeholders and our managed service providers, you'll lead the ongoing enhancement of our Microsoft 365 ecosystem, including Teams, SharePoint Online, Exchange Online, Intune, and Entra ID, while helping to optimise our Azure infrastructure, end-user computing environment and network services.

This role offers the chance to influence how technology is leveraged across the organisation, drive continuous improvement initiatives and provide technical expertise across workplace technologies, cloud services and operational support.

Your story

You're a proactive and customer-focused technology professional who enjoys solving complex technical challenges and ensuring technology services effectively support the needs of the business. You bring strong experience across Microsoft 365, endpoint management and cloud technologies, along with a passion for continuous improvement and innovation.

To be successful in this role, you'll have experience administering Microsoft 365 environments,



managing Windows devices through Intune and Autopilot, supporting Azure infrastructure, and working with managed service providers to deliver reliable technology services. You'll be comfortable balancing operational support with improvement initiatives and translating business requirements into practical technology solutions.

Most importantly, you're a collaborative problem-solver with strong communication skills, a continuous improvement mindset and a genuine desire to help people get the most from technology.
