About the Company
Our client is a privately owned residential construction company specialising in over-50s lifestyle communities across Queensland and NSW. The business has built a solid reputation for delivering quality homes, fostering long-term client relationships and providing a collaborative team environment. Due to continued growth and a very strong pipeline over the next 5 years, the business is searching for an additional Production Estimator to join the team. Responsibilities will include:
- Supporting the estimating team with material take-offs and purchase orders
- Reviewing construction plans, specifications and documentation
- Assisting with pricing, costings and supplier quotations
- Liaising with suppliers, subcontractors and internal construction teams
- Preparing and maintaining accurate estimating documentation
- Identifying discrepancies and assisting with cost efficiencies
- Working closely with senior estimators to continue developing skills and knowledge Skills and Experience We're looking for candidates that can demonstrate the following
- Minimum 12 months residential estimating experience
- Good eye for detail, accuracy and numerical skills
- Good communication and a team player
- Able to work in a fast paced environment
- Passionate about the construction industry Opportunity and Benefits
- 80,000 – 100,000 + Super on experience
- Full training and development provided to entry or mid level Estimator
