Service Manager / Workshop Manager

An outstanding opportunity exists for an experienced and motivated Service Manager / Workshop Manager to join a well-established truck dealership in Acacia Ridge.

For almost 40 years, our dealership has built a strong reputation for delivering quality trucks, exceptional customer service and long-term relationships throughout the transport industry. As a leading Hyundai Truck dealer, together with a substantial used truck operation we are seeking a proven leader to oversee and further develop our service and workshop operations.

This is a key leadership position within our business, responsible for managing workshop performance, leading and developing staff, and ensuring the efficient delivery of both internal and customer-facing service activities.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead, mentor and manage a small team of technicians and workshop personnel.

- Oversee the reconditioning, preparation and quality control of used trucks for retail sale.

- Manage servicing, maintenance and repair operations for both recent and used trucks.

- Coordinate workshop scheduling and workflow to maximise productivity and efficiency.

- Ensure high standards of workmanship, safety, compliance and customer satisfaction.

- Monitor workshop performance, profitability and operational outcomes.

- Foster a positive, professional and accountable workplace culture.

About You

To be successful in this role,



you will be an experienced workshop professional with a demonstrated ability to lead people and manage operations effectively.

You will possess:

- Previous experience as a Service Manager, Workshop Manager or similar leadership role within the heavy vehicle, truck or automotive industry.

- Strong leadership, communication and team management skills.

- A solid understanding of workshop operations, servicing and vehicle reconditioning.

- Proven organisational and problem-solving abilities.

- A commitment to delivering exceptional customer service and operational excellence.

- The ability to drive continuous improvement and contribute to the ongoing growth of the business.
