We're currently seeking an experienced Parks Worker to join a busy council team in Caloundra. This is a fantastic opportunity to secure a outstanding hourly rate, work in a stunning coastal location, and be part of a team that helps keep local parks and gardens looking their absolute best.

PARKS WORKER | CALOUNDRA COUNCIL

What You'll Be Doing

- Planting, pruning, weeding and mulching
- Mowing and turf maintenance
- Irrigation works
- Plant propagation
- Pest and weed control
- General landscaping and labouring duties
- Removing litter and green waste from parks and gardens
- Monitoring the health and condition of plants and landscaped areas
- Working safely in line with WHS and environmental requirements





What You'll Need

- Certificate II in Horticulture or relevant parks/gardens experience
- White Card
- Current C Class Driver's Licence
- LR Licence
- Good level of fitness for manual labour, lifting and outdoor work
- Ability to pass a pre-employment medical

Bonus Points For

- MR or HR Licence
- AC/DC Licence
- Chainsaw ticket
- Ride-On Mower or other horticultural equipment tickets
- Relevant immunisations (Hepatitis B, Hepatitis C and Tetanus)
