If you enjoy understanding how things work and bringing the details together, this role offers plenty to get involved in.

Berendsen Fluid Power, part of Questas Group, is looking for a Project Coordinator to join its Newcastle Engineering team. Reporting to the Engineering Project Manager, you’ll help prepare estimates and tenders, plan project activities and keep work progressing through to delivery, installation and commissioning.

You’ll also attend customer sites to oversee installation and commissioning, giving you a direct connection to the finished work.

You’ll

- Review drawings, specifications and customer requirements with Engineering, clarifying scope and preparing tender documents for approval.
- Obtain supplier quotations, confirm lead times and coordinate purchasing against project requirements.
- Maintain schedules and follow up actions across Engineering, purchasing, workshop teams and suppliers.
- Keep customers updated on progress, delivery dates and any information needed.
- Track costs, variations and project records, supporting handover, invoicing and close-out.
- Attend customer sites to oversee the installation and commissioning phase of projects.

Travel across Australia is required to support installation and commissioning at customer sites.

About You

You’re comfortable working through technical detail and understand the importance of clear communication and timely follow-up. You can organise competing priorities, ask questions when something is unclear and recognise when an issue needs attention.

You’ll Bring

- The ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications and customer requirements.
- An accurate approach to estimates, quotations and project documentation.
- Planning and coordination skills to manage schedules, purchasing activities and deadlines.
- An understanding of how changes can affect project scope, cost and delivery.
