About the role:
An opportunity exists for a motivated, customer focused Retail Trade/Warehouse Operator to join our company. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting our commercial and retail clients with their irrigation needs and ensuring our installation teams have the supplies they need when required. This role comes with long term job security and the opportunity for in house advancement and career growth.
Your duties/responsibilities
- Providing excellent customer service and product knowledge to our commercial and retail customers (walk-in and by phone).
- Processing orders, invoices, payment and general stock control.
- Picking orders for commercial customers and our installation/service teams.
- Arranging for transportation of products to site.
- Acceptance and management of incoming & outgoing stock.
- Assistance with stock takes and general housekeeping.
About you The successful candidate will possess the following skills/attributes.
- Previous irrigation, plumbing or similar experience would be an advantage.
- Previous customer service, retail or trade counter experience is preferred.
- Friendly, confident and engaging personality.
- Ability to communicate and problem solve.
- Punctual and reliable with a good work ethic.
- Physically fit.
- Ability to work within a team environment & autonomously.
- Computer skills.
- Forklift licence would be an advantage.
- Simpro Software knowledge and experience also an advantage.
- Have a willingness and ability to learn new skills with all in house training provided.
