About the Role

We are seeking a friendly, motivated and experienced Sales and Customer Service Consultant to join our growing Perth-based team.

This is a varied, hands-on internal sales role involving customer enquiries, sales quotations, order processing, freight coordination and general sales administration.

We're looking for someone who takes ownership of their work, demonstrates excellent attention to detail and enjoys working in a busy, customer-focused environment.

This is a full-time, Monday-to-Friday, office-based position located in Perth CBD. The successful candidate will report directly to our Sales & Operations Manager and work closely with our national sales team.

Key Responsibilities

- Respond professionally and efficiently to incoming phone and email enquiries.

- Prepare accurate sales quotations, including product measurements, pricing and freight calculations.

- Process customer orders, monitor their progress and coordinate deliveries.

- Build and maintain strong relationships with wholesale, commercial and retail customers.

- Prepare delivery documentation,



coordinate courier bookings and manage supplier purchase orders.

- Follow up on quotations, customer enquiries and outstanding orders.

- Develop strong product knowledge to provide customers with appropriate recommendations.

- Manage competing priorities and maintain accuracy in a quick-paced environment.

- Proactively identify and resolve customer issues, working collaboratively with the wider team.

- Maintain accurate records and follow established sales and administrative procedures.

- Assist with other sales and operational duties as reasonably required.

About You

We're looking for a dependable, proactive and professional individual who enjoys customer interaction, takes pride in their work and can confidently manage their responsibilities both independently and as part of a team.

Ideally, you will have:

- At least 2 years of experience in internal sales, customer service, sales administration or order processing.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a professional and customer-focused approach.

- Strong attention to detail and numerical skills, particularly with measurements, calculations, pricing and quotations.

- Good organisational skills and the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines.

- The ability to manage multiple enquiries, remain calm under pressure and work both independently and as part of a team.

- Intermediate computer skills, including Gmail, Word and Excel, familiarity with order management systems, and the ability to learn new software quickly.

- A reliable, accountable and positive approach to work.

- A willingness to learn, accept feedback and continuously improve.

Previous experience in building materials, manufacturing, wholesale distribution or a related industry will be highly regarded, but is not essential.
