Softtest Pays Pty is seeking a Salesforce Developer for an opportunity supporting the National Disability Insurance Agency (NDIA). The NDIA is undertaking significant technology programs to deliver innovative, fit-for-need ICT solutions that support the National Disability Insurance Scheme. The successful candidate will contribute to the Digital team within the Scheme CRM Platforms Branch, helping develop and improve digital capabilities used in a complex, service-focused environment.

About The Role

This role is suited to a Salesforce developer with hands-on experience in Salesforce Vlocity and a strong grounding in CRM development, integrations and contemporary delivery practices. You will help establish and develop AI-assisted development capabilities using Claude Code in Salesforce development. You will also contribute to REST API services and work with source control tools in a Claude Code context, supporting effective collaboration, code quality and maintainable delivery.

The role involves working within Agile delivery practices and using tools such as Atlassian Jira, Bitbucket and other development toolsets. You will collaborate with technical colleagues and stakeholders to implement, test and support Salesforce solutions. Candidates should be comfortable adapting to evolving tools and approaches while applying sound development principles and considering accessibility in their work.

Qualifications

Candidates should have three to five years of hands-on Salesforce Vlocity experience, particularly with Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Omniscripts, Flexcards, Integration Procedures and DataRaptors.





Experience working with object-oriented programming (OOP), frameworks and design patterns is essential. You should also have practical experience with source control tools such as GitLab, Bitbucket or GitHub, as well as package-based development, Atlassian Jira, Visual Studio Code and DevOps practices.

Applicants should demonstrate experience building or supporting integrations, including REST APIs and Platform Events. Familiarity with Salesforce Sales Cloud, Service Cloud and Community Cloud implementations is required, together with an understanding of Salesforce Governor Limits. An interest in accessible design and development, and a willingness to apply new approaches to accessibility, will be highly regarded.

Strong problem-solving, communication and collaboration skills are key for working effectively in an Agile team.

Responsibilities In this position, you will contribute to the establishment and development of AI-enabled Salesforce development capabilities using Claude Code. You will undertake development and support work for REST API services, integrations and Salesforce platform functionality, applying appropriate design patterns and development standards.

You will use source control tools, including GitLab, Bitbucket or GitHub,



in development workflows that incorporate Claude Code. You will support package-based development and DevOps practices, contribute to code management and delivery activities, and work with Jira and related Atlassian and Agile tools to track and coordinate work. You will develop and maintain solutions using relevant Vlocity and Salesforce technologies, considering platform limits, reliability, security and accessibility.

You will also work collaboratively with team members to clarify requirements, resolve technical issues, test changes and support continuous improvement of the CRM platform.
