About the role
We are seeking an enthusiastic and driven Sales Representative to join our team at NEXAUTO GROUP in Glenorchy, Tasmania. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in driving our business growth and customer satisfaction. As a Sales Representative, you will be at the forefront of our customer interactions, responsible for identifying sales opportunities, building lasting client relationships, and achieving sales targets. This role is essential to the success of our dealership and offers a rewarding career path for someone passionate about the automotive industry and customer service.

Key responsibilities

- Greet and engage customers with a professional and welcoming demeanour, understanding their needs and preferences
- Present and demonstrate vehicles to prospective customers, highlighting key features and benefits
- Prepare accurate quotations and sales proposals tailored to customer requirements
- Negotiate terms and close sales transactions in a professional manner
- Build and maintain a customer database, following up on leads and nurturing relationships for repeat business
- Meet and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets consistently
- Provide excellent after-sales support and maintain positive customer relationships
- Stay informed about current vehicle inventory, pricing, promotions and product knowledge
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure a seamless customer experience




- Complete all necessary paperwork and administrative tasks accurately and on time What we're looking for
- Proven experience working in a sales role, ideally within the automotive industry
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport quickly
- Excellent negotiation skills and a results-driven mindset with a proven ability to achieve targets
- Genuine passion for vehicles and a commitment to customer satisfaction
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a quick-paced environment
- Strong organisational skills with attention to detail
- Proficiency with computer systems and CRM software (preferred)
- A current driving licence and reliable transportation
- Professional appearance and a positive attitude
- Willingness to undertake relevant product and sales training
