About the role
We are seeking a Freezer Day shift worker to join the team at Timpecha Wholesalers in Gillman SA 5013. This is a casual position working during day shift hours in our freezer operations. You will play a vital role in maintaining the efficiency and organisation of our cold storage facility, ensuring that products are stored, handled and distributed correctly to meet our operational demands and customer requirements. What you'll be doing
- Organising and stacking frozen products in designated freezer sections according to inventory systems and storage protocols
- Maintaining accurate records of inventory movements and stock levels
- Operating freezer equipment and material handling machinery safely and effectively
- Ensuring compliance with food safety and hygiene standards within the freezer environment
- Conducting regular temperature checks and reporting any equipment issues or temperature fluctuations
- Some picking and preparing orders for dispatch to customers may be required
- Maintaining a clean and safe working environment within the cold storage facility
- Supporting the warehouse team when receiving frozen stock What we're looking for
- Previous experience working in a warehouse, distribution Centre or cold storage environment
- Ability to work safely in freezer conditions and tolerate cold temperatures for extended periods
- Physical fitness and capability to lift and move heavy items regularly




- Attention to detail and organisational skills to manage inventory accurately
- Team player with good communication skills and a willingness to follow instructions
- Flexibility to workday shift hours and adapt to casual work scheduling
- Relevant qualifications such as a Reach forklift license essential
