Italia Lane is an award-winning Italian restaurant located in the heart of Fortitude Valley, known for our artisan pastas, hand-stretched pizzas and modern Italian cuisine. Recognised as Australia's Best Pizza Restaurant and Best Casual Dining Restaurant at the 2025 Restaurant & Catering Awards, we're looking for a reliable, enthusiastic and hardworking Chef / Kitchen Hand to join our busy kitchen team.

About the Role
This is a hands-on, wide-ranging position suited to someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced kitchen and is happy to assist wherever needed. Depending on your experience, responsibilities will include:
- Assisting chefs with food preparation
- Preparing and cooking dishes during service
- Maintaining a clean, organised kitchen
- Assisting with stock rotation and deliveries
- Maintaining food safety and hygiene standards
- Supporting the kitchen team during busy lunch and dinner services What We're Looking For
- Previous experience working in a commercial kitchen
- Basic cooking skills and a genuine interest in food
- A positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Reliability,



punctuality and attention to detail
- Willingness to assist with all aspects of kitchen operations, including cleaning and dishes
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure
- Availability for a rotating roster, including evenings and weekends
