2nd, 3rd or 4th Year HVAC Apprentice Wanted MCM Air Services is a growing Sydney-based HVAC company specialising in residential and commercial air conditioning. We’re looking for a motivated 2nd, 3rd or 4th year HVAC Apprentice to join our team. This is a great opportunity for an apprentice who already has experience in the trade and is looking to further develop their skills across a wide range of HVAC work. You’ll work closely with the company director, gaining hands-on experience in installation, servicing, maintenance and fault finding while continuing to develop your knowledge and progress through your apprenticeship. The Role Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
- Assisting with the installation of ducted, split-system and VRV/VRF air conditioning systems.
- Carrying out servicing and maintenance of HVAC systems.
- Developing fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
- Preparing tools, materials and job sites.
- Working across residential and commercial properties.
- Working in roof spaces and outdoors.
- Travelling to and from job sites, with the option to meet in the morning and travel to site in a company van.
- Maintaining a clean, organised and safe work environment.
- Attending TAFE as required to complete your apprenticeship. What We’re Looking For We’re seeking someone who is keen to learn, takes pride in their work and is committed to building a long-term career in the HVAC industry. The ideal candidate will:
- Be a 2nd, 3rd or 4th year HVAC Apprentice.
- Be an Australian citizen.
- Have a solid work ethic and a willingness to learn.
- Be reliable, punctual and take pride in their work.




- Have good communication and teamwork skills.
- Be comfortable working in roof spaces and outdoors.
- Be motivated to build their technical skills and progress in the trade. Requirements
- 2nd, 3rd or 4th year HVAC apprenticeship experience.
- Australian citizenship.
- Current White Card.
- Valid NSW Driver Licence (provisional or above).
- Currently enrolled in the relevant HVAC TAFE course.
- Own basic hand tools (power tools are not required).
- Steel-cap work boots and suitable work pants.
