Immigration / Business Migration Lawyer – Senior Associate to Principal Sydney CBD | Established Law Firm | Practice Growth & Leadership Opportunity An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Immigration / Business Migration Lawyer to join a growing and ambitious law firm in Sydney. We are looking to speak with established practitioners at Senior Associate to Principal level who have strong technical expertise in immigration law, particularly business and corporate migration, and are ready to take the next step in their careers. This opportunity would suit a commercially minded lawyer with an established client base, a proven ability to generate work and the ambition to build and grow a successful practice. The Opportunity You will have the opportunity to lead and develop an Immigration and Business Migration practice, working with corporate clients, business owners, employers, investors and individuals across a broad range of immigration matters. Your practice may include:
- Employer-sponsored visas and corporate immigration
- Skilled migration and permanent residency applications
- Business migration and investor visa matters
- Immigration compliance and employer sponsorship obligations
- Visa refusals, cancellations and administrative review matters
- Advising businesses on workforce mobility and migration strategies
- Managing relationships with corporate clients, business owners and referral partners
- Developing new business opportunities and growing the firm's immigration practice At Principal level, you will have the opportunity to play a key role in the strategic direction and long-term growth of the practice. About You We are particularly interested in speaking with lawyers who bring:




- Strong experience in Australian immigration law, particularly corporate and business migration
- Experience at Senior Associate, Special Counsel or Principal level
- An existing client base, with the potential to bring client relationships across
- A demonstrated track record of business development and generating their own work
- Strong billings and a commercial understanding of practice profitability
- The ability to build, mentor and lead a team
- An entrepreneurial mindset and an interest in developing a growing practice
