Narraweena
Support one young man on the Northern Beaches to get out, stay safe and enjoy his week. TL is in his 20s, lives with his family in Narraweena, is autistic (level 3) and communicates through gestures and behaviour. He loves the movies, the beach and throwing a ball around. He also has a current Behaviour Support Plan and needs workers who stay calm, stick to the routine and know how to de-escalate. We are building a small, fixed team of three so he sees the same faces every week.
What we offer
- Permanent part-time, 25 hours per week guaranteed on a fixed roster (no chasing shifts)
- SCHADS Level 3 ($40.49/hr base) plus afternoon, Saturday and Sunday penalties; most shifts attract loadings
- Paid induction before your first shift: BSP walk-through with the behaviour practitioner, medication administration, CPR/first aid, 2 paid shadow shifts
- Work vehicle supplied for community access
- On-call team lead 7am–10pm who knows the participant, not a call centre
- One participant, one team, one coordinator — you will know the plan, the triggers and what works The roster (pick a line, or combine)
